Grid 12×12 grid containing only 12 horizontal bars, appearing alternately above and below the central two rows. Rows are labelled a-l, columns 1-12.
Preamble Each line of the diagram comprises a ten-letter word (clued) followed by two dummy letters; the whole is to be entered cyclically, starting at any point of the line. It is not necessary to enter bars delineating the dummy letters. Of the down lights, five-letter words are entered normally, seven-letter words are to be jumbled before entry. All clues are normal. Lights can be verified by Chambers 1988.
