Grid	Circular grid comprising six rings. The outer three rings have 33 cells, the inner three have 19, 12 and 11 cells respectively. Clues are listed under the headings Rings & Radials.
Preamble	Each group of three radial answers (1-3, 4-6 etc) has, in no particular order, one entered inwards (ie starting in the numbered cell), one outwards and one jumbled. Each radial clue has an extra letter that must be removed to enable solving. The letters define the two-word phrase in the innermost ring, which is also a description of the grid. Answers in the first (outermost) and third rings are clued by wordplay only and are what might be holding the grid together. The Chambers Dictionary (2016) is the primary reference.
