Preamble
Each clue answer must have one letter omitted wherever it occurs. Definitions refer to the full answer, while the wordplay refers to the mutilated answers to be entered into the grid. However, each clue also has a misprint in the definition. The omitted letters, in clue order, followed by the corrected letters from the misprints, also in clue order, spell out one possible version of a couple of lines of a song (also a TV series) whose title must be written in the space below the grid. Two of the unclued entries give the name of the singer while the other two give the name of a star of the TV series. The answer to 13 is in Collins. Enumerations refer to grid lengths.
