DifficultyC
Grid 20×10 barred grid without symmetry.
Preamble The grid represents the main part of a work of art. The wordplay in each across clue leads to the answer and an extra letter, not to be entered in the grid. In clue order, these give three words that represent key words in the title of the work. When ten unclued entries (all nouns, but not all thematic in themselves) are correctly completed, various features of the work will appear in the grid. The work's creator (two words) will also be completed by three of these entries. Unchecked and mutually checked letters of unclued entries could present NELSON VS BLONDEL. After filling the grid solvers must draw two bold straight lines, appropriately placed to indicate divisions within the work. All resulting entries will be real words or abbreviations.
