Preamble
A band has been assembled with the aim of going on tour. Clashes in ten cells need to be resolved to allow members of the band to appear in the grid. Every clue that does not involve a clashing answer contains an extra word, the first letters of which, taken in clue order, spell out part of a quotation that should help confirm the theme. One letter in an unchecked cell needs to be changed to allow the rest of the band to appear in the grid. Consideration of the ten clashing and one misprinted cells in row order should enable solvers to identify the likely itinerary. Solvers must highlight the single cells that mark the start and end of that itinerary (in appropriate places).
