Grid 12×12 carte blanche with one extra cell on each side. Clues are unnumbered.
Preamble Clues are given in normal order; bars would display 180-degree symmetry but need not be added. Some clues contain an extra word that must be removed before solving. The grid quadrants represent four escape rooms, each having a riddle given by the extra words (in clue order) from clues to entries that start in that room. After the clue answers are entered, the solver (U) must escape each room in turn, by following the path of its riddle's solution, ending up in one of the blank external cells. The complete path, passing through cell edges only (not corners), must be drawn. The Chambers Dictionary (2016) is the primary reference.
