Grid The grid is in the shape of snooker table, 9×17 but without bars. Clues are presented in a single numbered list under the heading Shots.
Preamble The grid represents a snooker table and a numbered square indicates the position of the cue-ball at each stroke, the answer to the clue beginning there being the path in which the ball travels straight or diagonally up, down, or across the table. All cushion rebounds continue in a direction 90 degrees to the original line, and solvers must determine the direction of each shot. Six shots result in pockets, their last two letters appearing there, reading left to right. The layout of balls on the table displays something rather crucial to the player with regard to the contents of the pockets (reading clockwise from bottom right).
Solution Notes
(Hide Solution)
The balls spelt out COLOUR-BLINDNESS, which would certainly affect the AMOUNT SCORED in the pockets.
